Adventures at home

10K races, blue crabs and training for…

After six months out of the country, we made our way back home.

Spending time in large cities seems to have made us less tolerant of the requirements of life in suburbs, where cars were required for even the smallest errands, where traffic seemed to be worse, where good Korean food could not be found in restaurants (so I have to cook it myself!).

But we have a renewed appreciation for clean air and blue skies; the sense of wide open spaces without crowds; the wonder of free local libraries.

We spent our spring and summer catching up with family and friends, traveling to see our grown children in their respective cities, taking care of this-and-that — and planning our next adventures.
